The purpose of the festival is to promote and celebrate creative expression through music and the arts. Students of all ages are welcome to participate.

Requirements: 

1) Present a live performance of a MEMORIZED piece of music on any instrument including voice. Duets and trios on one piano are allowed. The piece may be selected from any genre of music and there are no time limits. Student's original composition is also allowed.  Vocal or instrumental solos may be accompanied on the piano by the student’s teacher, or another student.

2) ALL students must also present an accompanying creative project and/or wear a costume related to the piece of music (see project guidelines).

Awards:

Prizes will be awarded to students for the top all-star performances and creative projects as determined by a panel of IMTA judges. Awards include trophies, ribbons, participation medals and certificates.

Fees:

$30.00 entry fee per student (students must be TMTA/IMTA Student Affiliate)
